P.E.H.U.C.C.I. – Peace Humanitarian Christian Center International – was founded by the visionary, the late Rev. Lucy Njenga. The name embodies the organization’s mission: to unite people under the banner of peace, compassion, and faith.
"Pehucci celebrates every smile, every effort, and every transformation.
Together, we create brighter futures for children in need."
Located in the Ruai area of Nairobi, Kenya, P.E.H.U.C.C.I. is home to 245 children, including orphans and destitute children, who live and study at the center. Our mission is to promote peace, extend humanitarian aid, and transform lives — with a special focus on providing these children with shelter, education, care, and spiritual guidance.
It is our vision to ensure that every child at P.E.H.U.C.C.I. enjoys a normal, fulfilling childhood just like other children in the community. This includes access to quality education, sports and recreational activities, church services, and social interactions. We also strive to create cherished memories by celebrating birthdays, Christmas, and welcoming visitors and well-wishers who share in our mission of love and hope.
At P.E.H.U.C.C.I., we believe that changing lives begins with people coming together. We invite you to rally behind our mission by offering your support through donations, volunteering, and partnerships. Your contribution helps provide food, education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment for the 245 children under our care — and supports vital self-sufficiency programs that empower the center and its community.
Whether you choose to volunteer your time, sponsor a child, or donate towards our projects, every act of kindness brings us closer to giving these children a brighter future.
